By telling the stories of five people (Flore A., raised in the Unification Church; Gina C., raised in Transcendental Meditation; Ananda, born and raised in ISKCON; Ann S., born and raised in Aesthetic Realism; and Jane Doe, born and raised in the Children of God), this book offers recommendations on how to deescalate the cult dynamic in society.

Nori Muster has a master’s degree in abuse counseling from Western Oregon University and helped to uncover systemic child abuse in the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). Child of the Cult is the result of more than twenty years of research.
